Spinning fast around and around
She never stops, never slows down for anyone
Out then in again goes the tide
Tracing patterns in blue
Doubtless that countless others
Have been hurt by her turning ways
One day the confident sun shines in his strength
The next the whole world is grey
What I find at the end of these days
All I wanted was to run away
But he said…
Keep going, going on
Keep going, going on
Keep going, going on
Keep going
You must press on
Sometimes this big bad world
Can leave you all hanging out to dry and upside down
Your heart, like a jar is in pieces and you’re left
Just wondering why
Too many times this has been me
And Judas has been my desires
When I tried to pick up the pieces it felt
It felt like a handful of water
And what I find at the end of these days
All I wanted was to run away…
Clear the cobwebs from my mind
The good and bad for the best
And leave the past behind
I reach for what’s ahead
